The technical design of the first multi-sample rate production project in China has been released.

On April 24th , The first multi-sampling rate production project in China jointly carried out by the Acquisition Technology Center and Xinjiang Geophysical Exploration Branch-The 3D technology design of Well East 1 in the northern basin of the Junggar Basin in 2024 was recently completed.

The multi-sampling rate seismic acquisition technology is the independent innovation technology of the acquisition technology center, which integrates many technical methods such as random, jitter, quadrate and compressed sensing. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period and the "14th Five-Year Plan" process, the acquisition technology center continued to study it deeply, took the lead in forming a multi-sample rate seismic exploration technology based on the principle of pre-stack migration imaging with independent intellectual property rights, and achieved good results through a number of project production tests. With its remarkable technical advantages and experimental results, the technology attracted great attention from Xinjiang Oilfield Company and was selected to be tested in 2024 in the east 3D production project of Well 1 in the North Basin of the Junggar Basin.

The East 3D production project of Well 1 in the North Basin of the Junggar Basin is an important deployment project of Xinjiang Oilfield Company this year, and it is also the first 3D exploration project in China that fully adopts multi-sampling rate design technology and has the largest construction area. Compared with the traditional acquisition technology design, the project design scheme optimizes the conventional single shot distance distribution to the overall uniform and locally random multi-shot distance distribution, and carries out design quality control based on the theoretical imaging noise level, and finally realizes the minimum level of system noise during the design shot point pre-stack migration imaging.

In the process of project design and implementation, the relevant technical backbone of Party A and Party B gather at the project construction site, monitor and analyze the production data every day, actively discuss the new problems arising from the new technology in the production, strictly control the quality control plan, improve the production plan, and ensure that the site secondary design fully meets the production quality requirements of the project.
